Strawberry Cream Pie

Ingredients

1 quart strawberries

1 cup sugar

2 teaspoon gelatin

3 tablespoon water

3 tablespoon very hot (not boiling) water

2 cup whipped cream

1 baked 9" pie shell

Directions

Crush strawberries and add sugar
Let mixture stand for 30 minutes
Soak gelatin in 3 tablespoons water for 10 minutes, then dissolve in 3 tablespoons very hot water
Stir gelatin into strawberries and cool
When softly set, lightly fold in whipped cream and pour into pie shell
Chill to set.
