Raisin Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Raisins to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except cornstarch, in a small pan
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer
  3. whisk in cornstarch until desired consistency is reached (like a thickened gravy)

Notes

  • I remember this from when my parents did baked hams when I was a kid. I wasn't much of a fan since I don't like raisins, but this would make a nice pineapple finishing sauce for ham without the raisins
  • The directions are assumed, all I have are the measurements.
