French Silk Pie

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup butter

3 squares (3 oz) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

1 ready to serve chocolate pie crust

Directions

In a bowl beat sugar and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 4 minutes or until fluffy.
Stir in chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating on high speed after each addition and scrape sides of bowl constantly.
Transfer to pie shell.
Cover and chill for 5 to 24 hours or until set.
If desired, top with unsweetened whipped cream, chocolate curls and strawberries.
