Drop Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cups shortening

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg

2 tablespoons milk

Directions

Cream together butter/margarine, shortening, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla thoroughly
Add egg and mix until mixture is fluffy
Mix dry ingredients together and add to mixture
Stir until smooth, blend in milk
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, flatten with bottom of water glass dipped in sugar
Bake at 400F for 10 = 12 minutes.
Cool
