Best Brownies You'll Ever Make

Ingredients

  • 4 Bars bittersweet baking chocolate (70% is good) or use chocolate chips
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup dutch process coco (preferred) or unprocessed (stay away from Hershey's)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp instant espresso
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable (or other neutral) oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted melted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F

Butter 9x13 pan, then put in parchment paper so that the edges are up over the long sides of the pan (you'll be able to lift out the brownies using the parchment paper

Cut up the chocolate bars to put on top of the brownies, does not have to be consistent sized. 70% coco is good. Or use good quality chocolate chips.

Sift all dry ingredients into a large bowl using a wisk and fine mesh strainer

Wisk wet ingredients to combine

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, using spatula to combine until just smooth with no lumps

Pour into the prepared pan

Cover with chopped chocolate or chocolate chips

Bake in preheated 350F oven for about 20 minutes, or until tooth pick comes out with some mix on it, but not a wet glob.
