Dips/Sauces, Ma Cusson Kitchen
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbl spoons oil
1 can, 12 oz, Hunt’s tomato paste
3 cups water
2 tbl spoons salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp oregano
¼ tsp pepper
Brown onion and garlic in the oil until tender
Add remaining ingredients and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes
Try adding a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, many spaghetti sauce recipes call for this. Also 1 tsp basil.
Add 1 cup to meatloaf
